Squirrels' Nest Pet Vacations

Pet boarding and day care...for peace of mind when you're away

About the Nest

Squirrels’ Nest Pet Vacations is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Northeast DeLand directly off  Highway 92 in Daytona Park Estates. We pride ourselves in caring for your pet in our home, not merely as visitors, but as members of our family!

Our house is a cheerful 3-bedroom home with an open floor plan, sunshine-flooded rooms, a screened in Florida room, and a half-sunny, half-shaded back yard enclosed with a six foot wooden privacy fence.

Pets may have their own private quarters at your request, but we prefer to keep them in our company whenever we are in the house or yard, as well as allowing them access to the house and porch.

We have a clean, non-smoking, Christian home with two adults and two older children, all who love animals and are committed to their impeccable care. We live within one mile of a 24-hour veterinary clinic.

Activities and Services

At Squirrels’ Nest Pet Vacations, we engage daily in free and directed play, both indoors and out, free run of the house and enclosed Florida room, four or more walks per day, exploration of the fenced-in back yard, a complementary bath for guests who stay with us 7 nights or more, home-cooked meals (or your own doggie diet per your preference), snacks, relaxing music, doggie massage, daily grooming, and overall spoiling and pampering on a minute-to-minute basis!
